The last 10 to 15 years have seen an outstanding amount of growth in the British Fine Food scene. Small producers have thrived as the British public have become more and more interested in the quality and provenance of their food. Key to this process in the cheese world has been Juliet Harbutt's British Cheese Awards. Summer 2012 would sem to be the time to celebrate Britishness and so we will be presenting a selection of winners from the Awards over the last few years.
