A wonderfully balanced cheese collection specially created for our Stratford shop containing local cheeses accompanied by our delicious crackers and chutney.
The cheese collection contains:
Berkswell 250g( Unpasteurised Cows' Milk, Traditional rennet) - Made at Ram Hall Farm, a small dairy in Warwickshire, by the Fletcher family who started making cheese at the end of the 1980s . Berkswell is a hard ewes milk cheese with a distinctive rind and lively intense flavours that vary with the season of production.
St Eadburhga 320g (Pasteurised Organic Cows' Milk, Traditional rennet) - Made at Gorsehill Abbey Farm, just outside Broadway on the edge of the Vale of Evesham. St Eadburgha has an appealing crinkly white rind and is mild and firm when young but gradually develops more flavour and a creamier texture as it ages.
Rollright 250g ( Pasteurised Cows' Milk, Traditional rennet) - cheese handmade by David Jowett at King Stone Dairy in Littile Rollright, Oxfordshire. Rolright is a washed rind cheese with a semi-soft, buttery texture & a blushing orange rind. Savoury and rich in flavour.
Oxford Blue 250g (Pasteurised Cows' Milk, Vegetarian rennet) - A blue cows' milk cheese, by Baron Robert Pouget, created in 1993 as an alternative to Stilton. Aromatic and gently spicy, the cheese is mellow and intensely creamy. The cheese comes wrapped in foil for freshness and to protect its soft texture.
N0 93 Ale Chutney 190g- A rich and tangy chutney made with Bramley apples, plums and Paxton & Whitfields very own English real Ale.
Poppy & Linseed Cracker 150g - A light, buttery cracker, packed with poppy seeds and linseeds, lending a nutty, toasted flavour.
Apricot, Date & Sunflower Seed Cracker Bakes 100g - Deliciously crunchy, twice baked gourmet fruity Sodabread Cracker Bakes with Apricots, Dates & Sunflower Seeds. These cracker bakes are Gluten free.
