Ever fancied learning something new? We have just released new 2019 dates for our Academy of Cheese training courses. A unique cheese gift to yourself and fellow cheese lovers.
The full-day course helps participants to gain confidence in tasting and talking about cheese and is a fun experience with an official Academy of Cheese accreditation.
Topics covered include: the cheesemaking process, cheese ingredients, maturing, affinage and grading, cheese pairings, cheese history and nutritional value and how to handle cheese safely.
Participants will taste and identify 25 different cheeses and also enjoy a light lunch and refreshments in the historic Jermyn Street in London.
The Academy of Cheese course culminates with a test and official accreditation is awarded to delegates that achieve at least 24 marks out of 30 questions in the Multiple-Choice Exam. The online exam is undertaken after participants have completed 6-8 hours classroom study and 12-24 hours of home study. The accreditation is suitable for cheese professionals looking to further develop their career and is perfect dinner table talking point!
Each one-day course takes place in Jermyn Street London and costs £195, which includes the Academy of cheese delegate pack, access to the online exam, a light lunch and refreshments.
