A selection of cheese, specially compiled to be enjoyed with a bottle of Champagne or sparkling wine. Bubbles can cut through rich, fatty cheeses while the acidity can marry well in equally acidic cheese. Plus, you can often get wonderful biscuit notes on the wine which is a perfect complement to cheese.

Your Cheese for Fizz Selection contains:

  • Langres 180g PDO: An historic French cheese with a unique truncated shape. Made with a depression in the centre designed to hold Champagne - pour in a little fizz in at your dinner table and watch it bubble!

  • Golden Cross 225g: A charcoal coated log shaped goats cheese with a firm texture and fresh lemon flavour which intensifies with age.

  • Parmigiano Reggiano PDO 200g: One of the most famous cheeses from Italy. Paxton & Whitfield Parmigiano Reggiano is matured for over 24 months. Rich, salty & sweet in flavour.

  • Caerphilly Gorwydd 200g: Award winning, Gorwydd Caerphilly is a delicious cheese which has a creamy softness and mushroom umami. The centre of the cheese is crumbly with a lemon, acidic tang.

  • Paxton & Whitfield Cracked Pepper Oatcakes 200g: Wholesome, wholegrain oatcakes for cheese - lightly seasoned with cracked black pepper. Handbaked in Scotland.
