Train with the Academy of Cheese - Join us virtually in May 2021
When Covid-19 hit, we were very disappointed to cancel our Academy of Cheese in-person courses. Our team have really missed this opportunity to interact with like-minded artisan cheese lovers. So... we are absolutely delighted to announce our new, Virtual Academy of Cheese courses for 2021! This course is not only a thouroughly enjoyable experience for cheese fans, it is also a comprehensive, industry-recognised accreditation.
Weekly Cheese Deliveries and a free Cheese Board!
This Level 1 course will take place virtually using Zoom on three Wednesday evenings in May 2021: Weds 12th, Weds 19th and Weds 26th - starting at 6pm each evening. Each delegate will receive a box of their tasting cheese delivered prior to each weekly session. The first box of cheese will include a detailed delegate pack and even a free acacia wood Paxton & Whitfield cheese board.
Level 1 is designed to appeal to anyone with a personal or professional interest in cheese. You will learn to taste like a pro, discover a structured approach to tasting and be introduced to a range of tools for effectively communicating about cheese. You'll improve your knowledge, learn how cheese is made, how to assess quality and develop an understanding of the provenance and range of cheese available. The price includes access to the online exam and official Academy of Cheese certification once you've passed the exam.
