Soft-Boiled Vegetarian Scotch Eggs
'Happy Belly' vegetarian scotch eggs replace the traditional meat layer with succulent sweet potato, caramelised onion and goats' cheese. Cutting into the soft egg yolk is a delightful experience - consistently soft, yet not so runny that it oozes out of the egg, which means it's perfectly shareable (if you're happy to share!). Coated in Panko breadcrumbs for an extra fluffy crunch.
These tasty, vegetarian Scotch eggs are the perfect accompaniments to artisan cheese and ideal for picnics and parties. The eggs can be served cold - "ready-to-eat", or you can warm them in the oven for an impressive starter or canapé (heat the scotch eggs on a tray in the middle of the oven for 12-15 mins).
As freshly made items, these scotch eggs should be eaten within 3 days of delivery to you. **Note. Scotch eggs in deliveries on June 1st for Jubilee celebrations will still be in date to eat over the Jubilee weekend'**. Please select your delivery date from the drop-down above.
