Creamy, Rich, Semi-Piquant Blue Cheese

Leeds Blue is our new blue cheese, with a creamy texture akin to a Gorgonzola Piccante, with a richness and a peppery warmth that develops with age. Made by Mario Olianas, an Italian chef by trade who set about producing a range of Italian-inspired ewe’s milk cheeses from his home in Adel, near Leeds, West Yorkshire.

Leeds Blue has won Gold at the International Cheese Awards, Gold at the Artisan Cheese Awards as well as Gold and Silver at the World Cheese Awards.

We suggest pairing Leeds Blue with a bottle of our rich and elegant Vintage Port. The wood notes and rich aromas of mature fruit perfectly contrast the tanginess of the blue cheese.
