Crunchy & Morish Cornichons
Maison Marc stands as the sole surviving commercial producer of cornichons in France, as most are now grown overseas in Asia. These cornichons are grown in Chemilly-sur-Yonne, without the use of any pesticides. The process involves meticulous hand-sorting and jarring without the addition of any preservatives. The Malossol gherkins, are a larger variety compared to typical gherkins and are softer and less acidic.
Devoted to 100% French cornichons, Maison Marc has been cultivating and transforming gherkins on the family farm in Chemilly-sur-Yonne in Burgundy for three generations. The totality of the farm's production is picked and sorted by hand, then immediately packaged.
