Seasonal foraged fruit preserve to enjoy with cheese.

A delectable Quince flavour, our fruit preserve has been foraged during the English autumn allowing for the use of otherwise discarded produce and ensuring the ingredients list is short. You know exactly what you are eating and can enjoy the gently cooked aromatic flavours of our Quince preserve paired perfectly with our cheeses.

Suzanne Kennerley, Paxton & Whitfield’s Buying Manager explains: “At Paxton & Whitfield, we have a strong dedication to the reduction of food waste. It is with great enthusiasm that we announce our collaboration with a small-scale producer who specialises in creating preserves from foraged ingredients sourced from hedgerows and traditional orchards. These ingredients, which would have otherwise been discarded, are obtained from British farmers who utilise food that would have otherwise ended up in landfills or deemed unsuitable for supermarket shelves. This sourcing approach not only benefits the ecological balance of the British countryside but also contributes to the preservation of rare heritage varieties found in traditional orchards that are currently under threat of disappearance.”
