Delicate & Delicious Snowdrop

This beautiful, little cow's milk cheese has recently been awarded Supreme Champion at The British Cheese Awards 2024. As a result, we have brought it in especially for you to try as our April Guest Cheese. Strictly available as a limited edition, you'll have to be quick to taste this award winner.

Introduced just over a year ago, Snowdrop is handmade by the Davenport family at Cote Hill Dairy in Lincolnshire. The cheese pays tribute to Cynthia Davenport, the dairy's founder, whose fondness for snowdrops, her favourite flowers blooming around the farm, inspired its name. Snowdrop, a raw cow’s milk cheese, boasts a soft, smooth, and velvety texture, reminiscent of the French St Felicien. Its flavour profile evolves with the changing seasons as it reflects the variations in the pastures.
