A beautiful wedding cheese cake designed to serve 110 people. Made up from four tiers of delicious artisan cheeses. The base is the award-winning Kirkham’s Lancashire, the next layer is delicious Sparkenhoe Shropshire Blue, the third layer is creamy Waterloo, and the cake is topped with eye-catching Mothais Sur Feuille.
Please allow 7 days’ notice before delivery when ordering your cheese celebration cake - you can reserve yours now for a delivery date in the future (select your delivery date when you go to checkout). Your cheese will be freshly selected, packaged with 100% sheep’s' wool insulation and icepacks and delivered to you on an overnight carbon-neutral delivery service for a fresh arrival. A postcard explaining how to assemble the tiers is included within your parcel.
Containing:
Mothais Sur Feuille 230g x3: This cheese is a stylish and eye-catching addition to any cheese board - circular in shape and wrapped in a dried Chestnut leaf. It has a full, complex and rich flavour, with a creamy yet firm texture.
Waterloo 800g: Waterloo is rich and not too powerful. It has a mildly salty flavour balanced by its lactic centre. It's an attractive and unique cheese for your cheeseboard with its white rind contrasting with the deep cream-coloured paste.
Sparkenhoe Shropshire Blue 2.5kg: Lightly laced with blue, this creamy cheese is made with unpasteurised milk and coloured with annatto. The orange hue contrasts beautifully with the blue veins leaving a cheese that is not only a pleasure for the eyes but also the taste buds.
Kirkham’s Lancashire 4kg: Farmhouse Lancashire is made using a traditional two-day curd method. Open textured, buttery, hint of sharpness.
