Wedding Cheese Cake for 220

A beautiful wedding cheese cake designed to serve 220 people. Made up from five tiers of delicious artisan cheeses. The base is the award-winning Paxton’s Cave Age Cheddar, the next layer is delicious Gorwydd Caerphilly, the third layer is Colston Basset Stilton, the fourth layer is creamy Waterloo and the cake is topped with moussey Sinodun Hill. 

Please allow 7 days’ notice before delivery when ordering your cheese celebration cake - you can reserve yours now for a delivery date in the future (select your delivery date when you go to checkout). Your cheese will be freshly selected, packaged with 100% sheep’s' wool insulation and icepacks and delivered to you on an overnight carbon-neutral delivery service for a fresh arrival. A postcard explaining how to assemble the tiers is included within your parcel.

Containing:

Sinodun Hill 200g x4: A soft goats' milk cheese with a subtle 'farminess', citric tones and a pleasant nuttiness. The texture is smooth and creamy with aromas of fresh hay.

Waterloo 800g:  Waterloo is rich and not too powerful. It has a mildly salty flavour balanced by its lactic centre. It's an attractive and unique cheese for your cheeseboard with its white rind contrasting with the deep cream-coloured paste.

Cropwell Bishop Stilton 2.5kg:  A truly exceptional example of one of England’s most famous cheeses, with a herby tang and rich creaminess.

Gorwydd Caerphilly 4kg:  Often described as a 'three-in-one' cheese, Gorwydd Caerphilly has an edible mushroomy flavour rind, a creamy softness on the outer edge which ripens from the outside in and the centre of the cheese is crumbly, citrussy and bright.

Paxton’s Cave Aged Cheddar 7kg:  Our very own cheddar, cloth bound and matured in natural caves in Somerset to give a distinctive fruity and nutty bite.

All Paxton & Whitfield deliveries are packaged with 100% sheeps’ wool insulation and reusable icepacks and send on an overnight delivery service for an impressive and fresh arrival.
