White Wine Perfectly Paired with Cheese
A vibrant white wine with plenty of exotic fruit aromas and a soft round palate that finishes with a lovely zingy freshness. Drink on its own as an aperitif or with cheese. Only available to customers aged 18 and over.
The Cote De Duras is a wine making area just to the East of the much more famous Bordeaux region. The climate, common grape varieties and techniques of wine making are very similar to Bordeaux, often giving very similar wines but at better value, and this wine is no exception.
It is made from the Sauvignon Blanc variety therefore creating a crisp, dry white wine.
Dry, crisp wines work well with cheese as the acidity cuts through the fatty nature of the cheese.
This wine works very nicely as a base for fondue as well as for accompanying a cheeseboard
